Our client is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Agribusiness Development Manager to join their team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role is critical in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, fostering strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and industry stakeholders. You will be responsible for market analysis, developing business strategies, and managing projects that enhance the value chain and promote sustainable growth.

- Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies for new agribusiness ventures.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market share and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, buyers, and other industry partners.
- Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals and investment pitches.
- Oversee the implementation of new projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and timelines.
- Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
- Master's degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in agribusiness development, strategic planning, or business management.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and launching new business initiatives.
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains and market dynamics in South Africa.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
