Fleet Sanitation Coordinator - Logistics Hubs

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Fleet Sanitation Coordinator to manage and implement sanitation protocols for their extensive logistics fleet operating out of Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This hybrid role involves overseeing on-site cleaning teams and operations, while also managing scheduling, inventory, and reporting tasks which may be performed remotely. The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, including trucks and trailers, are maintained to the highest hygiene standards, complying with industry regulations and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong logistical coordination skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage resources effectively. This position is crucial for maintaining the company's reputation for reliability and quality service in the transportation sector. • Develop and implement standardized cleaning and sanitation schedules for the fleet.
• Supervise on-site cleaning crews, ensuring efficient execution of tasks.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, vehicle inspections, and supply usage.
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance teams to schedule and integrate cleaning services with repair schedules.
• Train cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety procedures.
• Address and resolve any sanitation-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in developing and refining sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform remote administrative tasks, including reporting, scheduling, and inventory management.

• Proven experience in sanitation, cleaning supervision, or logistics coordination.
• Experience working with vehicle fleets is highly advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage teams and resources effectively.
