Senior Manager - Business Process Improvement

Our client, a diversified industrial conglomerate with significant operations in Mossel Bay, Western Cape , is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead their Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiatives. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and optimizing workflows across various business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, designing and implementing new processes, and ensuring sustainable change management.

You will work closely with departmental heads and teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence in Mossel Bay . This is a key leadership position with a direct impact on the company's bottom line and long-term success.

• Lead the identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes across the organization.
• Develop and implement strategic BPI projects, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile.
• Measure and monitor process performance, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to leverage technology for process automation and enhancement.
• Develop business cases for process improvement initiatives, outlining expected benefits and ROI.
• Ensure all implemented processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in business process improvement, operations management, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing significant process improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business operations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
• Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with the industrial sector is an advantage.
