Senior Business Analyst - Financial Systems

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their technology and operations division. This hybrid role, based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape , requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility to drive critical projects within their financial systems landscape. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our client's systems effectively support their strategic objectives.

• Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes and systems.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful system deployments.
• Provide subject matter expertise on financial systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on financial services and systems.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, or investment management.
• Familiarity with various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office duties in Mossel Bay, Western Cape .
