About the Role

Our client is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join their branch in Mossel Bay . You will be the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with inquiries, policy changes, and general support. • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person regarding insurance policies, billing, and coverage.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
• Assist clients with initiating the claims process and provide updates on claim status.
• Educate customers on their policies and recommend additional coverage or services where appropriate.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as needed.

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and standard office applications.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• A Grade 12 education or equivalent is required; further education or certifications are a plus.
