About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and technically proficient Architectural Designer with a strong focus on commercial projects to join their established practice in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. This role involves contributing to the entire design process, from initial concept development and schematic design through to detailed documentation for commercial buildings. You will collaborate closely with senior architects, project managers, and clients to bring innovative and functional commercial spaces to life, ensuring designs meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.

- Develop innovative design concepts and schematic designs for commercial projects.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations for client approvals.
- Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate various building systems into the design.
- Prepare construction documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design, with a proven portfolio in commercial architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape).
- Strong understanding of commercial building typologies, materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent design sensibility, technical detailing skills, and communication abilities.
