Early Childhood Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and creative Early Childhood Educator to join their dedicated team in Mossel Bay . You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and safe environment where young children can learn, play, and develop essential skills. This role involves planning age-appropriate activities, observing children's progress, and communicating effectively with parents to support each child's holistic growth.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs and activities for young children.
• Observe and assess children's progress in various developmental domains (cognitive, social, emotional, physical).
• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Foster positive social interactions and emotional development among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and engagement in the program.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their well-being.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 4/5).
• Proven experience working with young children in an early learning setting.
• Deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, patience, and nurturing skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
