Montessori Teacher - Early Years Program

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and certified Montessori Teacher to guide their Early Years Program in Mossel Bay. This role involves fostering an independent and child-led learning environment, adhering to the principles of the Montessori philosophy. You will prepare the classroom environment, present Montessori materials, and observe each child's developmental needs to facilitate their growth across all areas. • Prepare and maintain a well-organized, child-friendly Montessori classroom environment.
• Guide children through the use of Montessori materials and activities, fostering self-directed learning.
• Observe and document each child's progress, interests, and needs, tailoring support accordingly.
• Facilitate social and emotional development through grace and courtesy lessons and conflict resolution.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and the Montessori approach.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.

• Certified Montessori Teacher (e.g., AMI, AMS) for the Early Years age group.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Proven experience implementing the Montessori curriculum.
