About the Role

Our client is searching for a dedicated Child Development Specialist to join their team in Mossel Bay . This critical role focuses on understanding and supporting the unique developmental needs of children within their early years, implementing specialized programs, and collaborating with educators and families. You will be instrumental in identifying developmental milestones, providing early intervention strategies when needed, and ensuring a holistic approach to child growth.

• Conduct developmental assessments to identify individual strengths and potential challenges in children.

• Advanced degree in Child Development, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in assessing and supporting child development, including early intervention.
• Strong knowledge of developmental psychology and various learning theories.
• Excellent observational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse groups of children, families, and professionals.
