Foundation Phase Teacher; Grade R

Our client is looking for a warm, nurturing, and highly motivated Foundation Phase Teacher to join their dedicated team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role focuses on educating young learners in Grades R-3, providing them with a strong foundational understanding of literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

You will play a key role in the early development of children, working closely with parents and colleagues to ensure each child's holistic growth and well-being within the vibrant Mossel Bay educational landscape.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Foundation Phase learners, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate assessments to monitor student progress and provide targeted support.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
• Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners through play-based and structured activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and development.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow Foundation Phase teachers and school management to enhance the learning program.

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g.,
  
  B.Ed. Foundation Phase or relevant diploma) with SACE registration.
• Experience teaching in the Foundation Phase (Grades R-3) is essential.
• Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach to teaching young children.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective teaching methodologies for young learners.
