• Plan and design transportation infrastructure, including road networks, intersections, and traffic control systems.
• Conduct traffic studies, analyze traffic data, and develop traffic management strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for pedestrian and cyclist safety.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and government authorities on transportation-related aspects of development projects.
• Prepare traffic impact assessments and transportation planning reports.
• Ensure designs comply with national and provincial road design standards and safety guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and traffic analysis.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA INTERSECTION) and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of traffic safety principles and road design standards.
• Experience with public transport planning and non-motorized transport infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
