Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support their operations in Mossel Bay . This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials, from procurement to delivery, maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to manage inventory, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.

• Coordinate daily procurement activities, including placing orders and managing supplier communications.
• Track shipments and deliveries, ensuring timely arrival of goods and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control measures.
• Liaise with logistics partners to arrange transportation and manage shipping documentation.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays or quality concerns.
• Support the procurement team with data analysis and reporting on supply chain performance.

• Previous experience in a supply chain , logistics, or procurement support role.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with relevant supply chain software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is a plus.
