FMCG Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team based in Mossel Bay . This role is critical in monitoring, analyzing, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations for our fast-moving consumer goods. You will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancement across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain principles within the FMCG sector, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to drive operational excellence.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, providing regular reports.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements.
• Assist in forecasting demand and ensuring adequate stock levels for various FMCG products.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related role, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and/or BI software.
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
