About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Project Manager to drive supply chain optimization initiatives from their Mossel Bay office. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, developing strategic solutions, and overseeing the implementation of process improvements across the supply chain. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, operational understanding, and strong project leadership skills. You will work collaboratively with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance, ensuring successful project outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and execute project plans for implementing new supply chain technologies and process enhancements.
  • Manage cross-functional teams involved in supply chain projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Track project performance metrics, report on progress, and manage risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of optimized processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of supply chain operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a specialization in supply chain or logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
