Facilities Cleaning Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Facilities Cleaning Manager to lead cleaning operations for their properties in and around Mossel Bay . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site leadership and remote strategic planning to ensure optimal cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. You will manage a team of cleaning staff, oversee supply chain management for cleaning materials, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in facilities management, excellent leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

• Manage, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff across multiple sites.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Respond to and resolve any cleaning-related issues or client concerns promptly.
• Contribute to budget planning and management for the cleaning department.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or cleaning supervision.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, techniques, and equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities both on-site in Mossel Bay and remotely.
