Production Operator - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Production Operators to join their Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing plant in Mossel Bay . This is an entry-level to mid-level role focused on operating production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, and contributing to overall line efficiency. You will be an integral part of the production team, responsible for the hands-on operation of equipment, monitoring processes, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

• Operate and monitor various production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance on machinery as required.
• Ensure consistent product quality by adhering to all quality control checks and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Accurately record production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

• Previous experience as a Production Operator , preferably in an FMCG or similar high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as needed.
