Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Officer

About the Role

Our client, a respected entity in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, is looking for a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Officer to join their dedicated team in Mossel Bay . This role is essential for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with national and international regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

The ideal candidate is process-oriented, committed to excellence, and possesses a strong understanding of GMP principles.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits by regulatory agencies and customers.
• Review and approve batch records, manufacturing documentation, and validation reports.
• Manage and investigate deviations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change controls.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations .

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, regulatory affairs, and quality control principles.
• Experience with auditing, document control, and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
