About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Pilot to join their dynamic regional operations team based in Mossel Bay . You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating company aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of flight safety and passenger comfort. This role involves navigating varied weather conditions and flight plans, requiring excellent decision-making and piloting skills. You will be a vital part of a team committed to providing exceptional aviation services within the region, contributing to the company's reputation for reliability and professionalism in all flight operations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with all flight regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, ensure aircraft readiness, and manage flight documentation.
- Plan flight routes, considering weather conditions, air traffic, and fuel requirements.
- Maintain situational awareness and make sound decisions in dynamic flight environments.
- Provide exceptional service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Collaborate effectively with air traffic control, ground crew, and fellow flight crew members.
- Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with current medical certificate.
- Minimum of 1500 flight hours, with significant experience in multi-engine aircraft operations.
- Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot License with appropriate type ratings.
- Excellent understanding of aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew resource management (CRM) skills.
- Ability to pass a rigorous background check and pre-employment drug screening.
