About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation and delivery operations based in Mossel Bay . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, coordinating with drivers, managing inventory transit, and liaising with customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the supply chain.

You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards and contributing to the operational success of our client in the Western Cape .

• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries within the Mossel Bay region and surrounding areas.
• Track shipments and monitor their progress, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage communication between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve logistical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs where possible.

• Previous experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and transportation methods.
