Local Delivery Driver - Goods Transport

Our client requires a dependable Local Delivery Driver for their expanding operations in Mossel Bay . You will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods to customers within the local area, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role is fundamental to maintaining customer satisfaction and operational smoothness. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of local routes, a commitment to safe driving, and a friendly demeanor for customer interactions.

• Safely operate a light to medium commercial vehicle for local deliveries.
• Plan efficient routes within the Mossel Bay area to meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload packages and goods with care.
• Obtain signatures and confirmation for all delivered items.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.

• Valid driver's license, preferably Code 10 , with a PDP.
• At least 2 years of experience in local delivery driving.
• Good knowledge of the Mossel Bay and surrounding local road networks.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and carrying packages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
