Anderson Knight is recruiting for our well-established client, who are looking to add a PQ Accountant to their growing team. The RoleAs a PQ Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting with tax compliance
- Completing bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with year-end accounts and audit work where required
- Liaising with clients to obtain relevant financial information
- Supporting senior members of the team with a variety of accounting duties
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Developing strong relationships with clients and providing a professional service
- On Site/Office Based
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and keen to progress their career within accountancy. You should have:
- At least 1 year's experience working within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts for clients
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and processes
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Ideally, you will be studying towards an accounting qualification such as AAT or ACCA and keen to progress with completing your qualifications.
