Due to recently winning new contracts within the Central Belt of Scotland, our client is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant to cover works within the region. Applicants must have a successful track record within the industry, and must hold relevant industry qualifications (BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent). Our client is a medium-sized outfit, who has a strong reputation within the industry for providing asbestos surveying, analytical and removal services.

Experience /

Qualifications:

• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant within a UKAS accredited company
• Fully conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
• Signed off to complete the full range of asbestos surveys
• Confident using IT software to complete reports
• Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:

• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Re-inspection surveys
• Working across a range of commercial, domestic and local authority premises
• Safely collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
• Writing detailed asbestos survey reports, with floor plans
• Meeting with clients to provide feedback after completing surveys
• Adhering to set targets and deadlines
• Maintaining positive working relationships with clients
