Key Responsibilities Take full commercial responsibility for allocated MEP subcontract packages
Manage cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and final accounts
Lead procurement and commercial management of MEP subcontractors
Identify, price and agree variations and change events
Manage cash flow, valuations and applications for payment
Maintain robust commercial records to support change, claims and risk management
Work closely with project, design and construction teams to manage interfaces
Ensure compliance with Balfour Beatty commercial standards and governance
Support project reviews, reporting and stakeholder engagement
Who we're looking for
Essential Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor on MEP or building services packages
Experience working within a Tier‑1 main contractor or major MEP contractor environment
Strong understanding of commercial management, procurement and subcontract administration
Experience managing complex MEP scopes on projects typically 10m+ in value
Confident managing change, risk and cost certainty in live project environments
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Proficient with commercial reporting systems and MS Office Valid CSCS card
Desirable
Professional membership or working towards (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE or equivalent)
Experience in refurbishment‑led or heritage‑sensitive projects
Exposure to BIM‑enabled commercial reporting
