Imagine helping design the electrical systems for a major infrastructure project, learning from experienced engineers every step of the way. As an Electrical Design Project Engineer on placement, you’ll support design tasks and contribute to real project work. It’s about exploring the world of electrical design and seeing how ideas turn into reality.

Based at our Maxim office near Motherwell you will also need to travel to support various project sites across the UK.

Our Year in Industry placements are targeted at students enrolled in a university degree programme and offer the chance to gain real-world experience while fulfilling academic requirements. This placement allows you to apply your learning in a practical environment and build valuable professional skills.
