Salary: £27,000 -£29,000 per annum

A global, industry‑leading engineering company is on the lookout for a reliable, motivated Trainee Mobile Tail Lift Engineer to join their growing team in the Edinburgh or Glasgow area, covering the whole of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term engineering career with full training provided — no previous tail lift experience required.

• Support the inspection, servicing and repair of tail lifts and associated equipment
• Work on commercial vehicles and lifting equipment across Scotland
• Learn fault diagnosis, mechanical and electrical repair skills
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on‑site
• Develop specialist engineering knowledge through structured training from senior Engineers
• After your initial settling‑in period, a company van will be provided to support your mobile role.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Engineering or technical background preferred (but not essential)
• Comfortable working on vehicles and mechanical equipment
• A practical problem‑solver with a positive attitude
• Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
• This role would suit someone from a mechanical, automotive, HGV, plant, REME, agricultural, or general engineering background — or someone looking to break into the industry.
