Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Commutable from Hamilton, Glasgow, Motherwell, Livingston and surrounding areas) First Achieve engineering recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client a well- established and growing engineering consultancy within the ground investigation sector. We're seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to manage complex site investigation projects and deliver high-quality technical reporting. About the role
* Manage and supervise ground investigation projects on site
* Oversee drilling rigs and site teams, ensuring safe delivery
* Carry out soil/rock logging, trial pitting, and in-situ testing
* Undertake groundwater and gas monitoring/sampling
* Produce accurate site records and interpretative reports
* Lead on H&S compliance, RAMS, inductions, and site safety
* Liaise directly with clients throughout project delivery Requirements for consideration
* Degree qualified (Geology / Geotechnical / Hydrogeology or similar)
* Experience managing ground investigation projects/contracts
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Chartered or working towards chartership
* Full UK driving licence Benefits Package
