As demand continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contract Structural Engineer to support the delivery of complex building projects from our Motherwell office.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands‑on engineer who can quickly integrate into project teams, take ownership of structural design packages, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions with minimal supervision.
What You'll DoYou’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from refurbishment works through to new‑build developments, providing structural engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Producing and reviewing structural calculations, specifications and technical reports.

- Coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Supporting project delivery from concept through detailed design.
- Managing your own workload and taking responsibility for delivering agreed outputs.

You’ll ideally have:
- Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (Structural bias).
- Proven UK project experience within building structures.
- Strong structural analysis and design capability.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, defence, power, public sector or other complex infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions
- Good knowledge of current UK design codes and standards.
- Experience using structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Master Series, Robot or similar.
