tr th {}Our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of large-scale projects across highly regulated sectors including Energy, Defence, Nuclear, Life Sciences and Industrial.
Working as part of an established engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering structural engineering solutions from concept design through to detailed design and project execution.
Responsibilities Deliver structural engineering designs and technical solutions for complex projects.
Produce design calculations, technical reports, specifications and supporting documentation.
Undertake structural assessments and analysis using relevant software packages.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Participate in technical reviews, design meetings and client discussions.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
Support projects through all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
Requirements Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Demonstrable experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
Previous experience within consultancy, industrial, energy, nuclear, defence or infrastructure environments.
Proficiency with relevant structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis or similar.
Strong understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes and engineering best practice.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartership.
Experience working in highly regulated or safety-critical industries.
Existing security clearance or eligibility to obtain security clearance.
