As an Event Steward based in Motherwell, you will support one of Scotland's leading providers at major sporting and music events. This temporary position offers a competitive salary and flexible shift patterns to fit your schedule, alongside weekly pay and regular assignments across the year. Your key duties involve enforcing venue rules, monitoring crowd behaviour, and upholding health and safety standards for spectators, colleagues, and yourself.

Our Event Safety Stewards will be working for one of Scotland's most reputable Event Stewarding companies to help them deliver an exceptional experience at some of Scotland's biggest sporting and music events!

- Understand general health and safety responsibilities towards spectators/audience members, other venue staff and yourself
- Enforce venue/event regulations
- Carry out pre and post event safety checks
- Control and direct spectators entering or leaving the venue
- Secure staff entrances, exits and other key safety points of the venue
- Check or take tickets on entrance points
- Enforce venue search policies, whilst following the company's search procedure
- Seat patrons if the event is all or partially seated
- Recognise any unsafe crowd conditions, such as overcrowding, or abnormal crowd movement such as sways and surges which may be experienced at certain events
- Assist all emergency services, if and when required
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good team player as well as ability to work on own initiative
- Take pride in your work
