North Lanarkshire Council, as one of Scotland's largest local authorities, is leading an ambitious regeneration programme for its town centres and surrounding areas as part of its plans for inclusive economic growth. The Enterprise and Communities service plays a key role in guiding this regeneration towards sustainable development and creating prosperity in North Lanarkshire.

• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of estate, including security, cleaning communal areas and keeping the area litter‑free.
• Respond to community clean‑ups and recycling initiatives as part of a team.

• Experience in a security, caretaking or cleaning environment and dealing with the public is essential.
• Team worker with a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
• Desirable: relevant housing, health and safety or social work qualification; knowledge of CCTV systems, cleaning machines and cleaning agents (full training will be provided).
• A driving licence is desirable to assist with estate management duties.
• Successful candidate will be subject to a criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.

• Post 1 – 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
• Post 2 – 18.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesdays).
