People Solutions are currently recruiting for  HGV Class 1 Drivers  to join our client's well-established transport team in Motherwell.  This is a fantastic opportunity offering competitive pay rates, long-term work, and genuine potential for career growth.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a  LGV Class 1 Driver ,  CE Driver  or  Articulated Lorry Driver .

Shifts:

24-hour operation – Days and Nights available   Pay Rate:  £16.00 – £19.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
Operate and drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently

Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete all required documentation

Load and deliver goods between designated locations

Handle double-decker trailers where required

Ensure all loads are safely secured

Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers

Adhere to road safety, traffic laws, and company regulations

Essential Skills
Valid UK Category C+E Licence

Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)

Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times

Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Strong understanding of road safety and compliance

Desirable Experience
Previous experience in retail or distribution deliveries

Training
Full onboarding support provided

Paid two-day site induction

Ongoing driver support and development throughout your assignment
