Automatic Machine Operative

Overview

We are looking for automatic machine operators to efficiently and effectively run the auto operator machines and the ultrasonic welding machines for inline packing.

• Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines
• Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime
• Keep the machinery in good working condition and operating at the optimum speed
• Keep the machines maintained to minimise breakdowns and possible downtime
• Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting production targets
• Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work in a changing environment
• Good communication skills
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Analytical skills
• Previous experience of production in line packing
• Target driven
