Overview
Full-time Therapist / Social Worker / Counselor position with Turning Point Care Center, LLC. Therapists provide group and individual counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance use issues. They consider social factors affecting psychological well-being and conduct evaluative interviews. Opportunities may include the Women’s Partial Hospitalization Program, Women’s Intensive Outpatient Program, and Men’s Partial Hospitalization Program. Our continuum of care philosophy offers a broad range of services from inpatient to outpatient programs with a therapeutic community that emphasizes self and peer accountability.

Centrally located in South Georgia, our facility is 30 minutes from I-75, 1.5 hours north of Tallahassee, FL, 3 hours south of Atlanta, GA, and 2.5 hours west of Jacksonville, FL. Employees reside in Moultrie or surrounding communities including Albany, Tifton, Thomasville, and Valdosta, GA.

Qualifications- Competence in understanding and treating primary mental health diagnosis, substance dependence, and dual diagnosis
- Experience with trauma-focused treatment, preferred
- Experience working with patients with military backgrounds, preferred
- Three (3) years in clinical services desired; two (2) years working with dually/multiple diagnosed, preferred
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or similar program required
- Licensure in the State of Georgia in good standing: LMSW, LAMFT, LAPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC preferred; recent graduates must obtain licensure within a year of graduation
- CEUs required biannually for licensure (provided for free)
