CNC Machine Operator / CNC Machinist We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join a CNC machine shop. This position involves programming and/or operating CNC mills, turning centers, and other machining equipment. Previous CNC or machining experience is preferred, but candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn may be considered for training.
Responsibilities- Set up and/or operate CNC mills, turning centers, and related equipment
- Program CNC machinery based on experience and skill level
- Monitor machines during production to ensure proper operation
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Follow work instructions and production specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with other machine shop duties as needed
- CNC machining or machine shop experience preferred
- Knowledge of CNC mills and/or turning centers is a strong plus
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Willing and able to complete on-the-job training when necessary
