Job SummaryThe Regional Human Resources Manager is responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions across multiple manufacturing locations as well as our corporate offices. You will manage a team of HR business partners and generalists as well as support operational leadership and corporate functions giving both strategic guidance and tactical support. This position is on-site at the corporate headquarters in Mound, MN, with travel required to assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide HR support to multiple plants and corporate functions on all aspects of human resources including recruiting, performance management, safety, employee relations and policy interpretation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of HR Business Partners and HR Generalists.
- Partner with operations and plant management on solutions to complex employee relations and staffing and retention issues.
- Build trust and rapport, maintaining a positive and productive relationship with employees at all levels.
- Monitor and ensure compliance on HR practices across all locations (staying up to date on employment legislation across multiple states).
- Train managers and HR team on company practices and procedures.
- Support changes in business priorities and support business partners with change management.
- Partners with the EHS team in supporting and enforcing the company’s safety policies, OSHA compliance and worker compensation claim management.
- Monitor and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism and recruitment costs to inform decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of experience required.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, health & safety, and labor law compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple sites with majority of communication over phone and virtually.
- Experience using ADP and UKG Time & Attendance preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
Ability to occasionally lift, pull/push up to 25 pounds.
