About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement to join our team. You will be accountable for providing leadership and direction for all indirect procurement categories including MRO, travel, packaging, supplies, and services. You will develop, recommend, and implement indirect procurement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to create a robust and resilient indirect supply chain in alignment with the business growth and profitability goals.

What Success Looks Like
  • Take ownership of indirect spending categories (MRO, travel, supplies, freight, packaging, services) to create supply strategies and cost‑saving initiatives
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Implement and maintain indirect procurement best practices, policies, and procedures across the organization
  • Serve as thought leader for indirect procurement aspects of risk mitigation, sustainability, technology, automation, and data analytics
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for category and supplier performance and sourcing effectiveness
  • Develop and deliver reporting on vendor performance and initiate improvements
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, EHS, finance, corporate, legal) to ensure alignment of sourcing activities with business needs
  • Analyze market trends, commodity prices, geopolitical factors to anticipate and mitigate risks
  • Stay abreast of global trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements
  • Keep senior management informed regularly about indirect sourcing activities, progress, and key developments
  • Create and sustain a culture of talent development, performance management, and accountability
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering significant indirect cost savings and process improvements
  • Direct spend management of over $200M related to indirect spend category
  • Work within a fast‑paced, complex, dynamic business environment
  • Show exceptional leadership and cross‑functional team management experience
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Possess strong data analytic capabilities
  • Use indirect procurement tools such as eRFX, supplier portals, contract management, spend cubes, and artificial intelligence
Your Credentials
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement within a multi‑site manufacturing environment and a minimum of five years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
  • CSCP or CPSM certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • ERP experience with SAP or Oracle preferred
Salary

The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $130,000 with bonus potential.
