Reliability Engineer II – Medical Device
Type: W2 Contract
Location: Mounds View, MN
Duration: 5+ months
Key Skills Required- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science (Mechanical preferred) with 1–5 years of experience
- Knowledge of medical device design, reliability engineering, and risk management
- Experience with statistical methods, DOE, process capability, and SPC
- Understanding of industry standards, specifications, and GD&T
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work cross-functionally.
- Review manufacturing, supplier, and design changes for released products
- Perform complaint trending and elevate reliability or quality signals
- Own and maintain risk management documentation
- Conduct reliability studies, risk analyses, and DOE to improve product performance
- Analyze data, identify failure risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Support reliability programs to meet regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
