As a Security Officer - Access Control Utilities Driver in Moundsville, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols throughout utility locations. Your presence and professionalism will provide a welcoming environment while you interact with employees and visitors.

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and guidance on site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to deter security risks and identify irregularities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence at access control points to deter potential threats and provide reassurance.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
