The Utility Person / Dishwasher is responsible for many duties that impact the guests’ dining experience. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial, as it is a key factor in guest satisfaction and repeat visits. The Utility Person / Dishwasher ensures general cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant, with a focus on dishwashing and sanitation.

• Provides clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to guests.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant's interior to ensure a pleasant, safe environment for guests and staff.
• Cleans the exterior of the building and parking lot.
• Checks, cleans, and stocks restrooms.
• Empties trash into the dumpster and maintains the cleanliness of trash cans and the back dock area.
• Organizes and thoroughly cleans the utility area.
• Follows duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
• Complies with local health department laws and regulations.

• Stocks kitchen and service areas with appropriate supplies.
• Maintains organization, efficiency, and cleanliness in all work areas.
• Reports equipment or facility issues to the manager promptly.

• Follows position responsibilities to ensure just-in-time delivery of services.
