Position located at the Michigan Youth Treatment Center (MYTC), 400 N. Rose Street, Mt. Clemens, MI. The selected incumbent will be required to physically report to this office. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

• Provide classroom instruction to students n and prepare lessons, oversee and facilitate the learning activity, and evaluate student progress.
• Provide ongoing communication (verbally and in writing) about student progress and notable behaviors to other teachers, and other staff (treatment team).
• Observe and record student’s classroom behaviors as required for special education documentation.

• Education:
  
  Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a field of K-12 education.
• Experience:
  
  No specific type or amount is required.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  Current Michigan teacher certificate in secondary Math instruction.
