Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN/Per Diem – Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Location: Select Specialty Hospital – Macomb / Grosse Pointe, MI

Pay Scale: $50.00 per hour

Position Type: PRN / Per Diem / As Needed

• Communicate effectively – evaluation, intervention, and care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication and swallowing function and deliver goal‑oriented treatment to maximize patient potential.
• Participate in monitoring the quality of services provided by the Rehab Therapy Department.
• Engage in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in developing the SLP role in programs and services, revising departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain an adequate supply of resources and share professional knowledge and experience.

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment.

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association.
