Material Handler

Job Title Material Handler Position Description Urgent need to fill 3 Material Handlers ASAP. Will need to fill the remaining 3 in the near future but focusing on 3 for now. Need to fill all 3 shifts.
1st - 6am - 2PM 2nd - 2PM - 10PM 3rd - 10PM - 6

AMRoles Responsibilities
• Load and Offload all trucks from the south dock and transport materials to the arranged location
• Removal of empty containers and transport to an agreed upon area
• Load and off-load sealer material
• Load wax accordingly to specified schedule
• Make daily trip to Mail Room and deliver packages to appropriate area
• Ensure all work areas and storage locations are clean and in good housekeeping
• Notify Logistics Manager of any abnormal issues found throughout the shop during initial walk through in first hour of shift in all areas using process materials and ensure empty barrels/totes are removed from service
• Ensure materials are ready to be used according to FIFO procedures
• Ensure all products on and offline are properly in place and not within range of expiring
• Support and follows all company policies and procedures, and upholds Abednego’s interests in a positive and professional manner
• Works a minimum of 40 hrs per week on-site and may be required to work additional hours as required or requested by the Logistics Manager
• Ensure compliance with all safety training requirements
• Update and maintain sealer board
• Change sealer system filters on schedule
• FIFO stock in Kitting, Wax and Sealer
• Other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager Skills
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have reliable method/source of transportation Education
• High School Diploma or GED
