American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment completion.
Details- Float Pool position within Clinical Support Services at an acute care hospital
- Trauma center environment with cardiovascular and cancer care services
- Uses Paragon EMR system
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
- Compact license not accepted
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
- Paragon EMR experience preferred
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
- MI license verification (LARA and Nursys) required
- References not required
- Deliver quality nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient needs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards
- Direct, coordinate, and delegate care activities to support patient and family-centered care
- Matching scrubs required for dress code
- Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to reduced pay rates
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off allowed
- Former full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
- First-time travelers are not eligible due to the travel assignment experience requirement
