American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift role at a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital, requiring MI licensure and TNCC/ENPC certification.

• Emergency Department setting within a tertiary teaching hospital
• Level II Trauma Center with one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Overtime available after 40 hours (3/12s) or 48 hours (4/12s)

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact licenses not accepted
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• TNCC or ENPC certification required

• Deliver quality nursing care through the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on individual patient needs
• Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient and family centered care
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Local candidates within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers
• No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment
