American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of PACU experience and an active MI license.
Details- Work in the PACU unit of a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital
- Supports a surgical department performing general, gynecological, laparoscopic, breast biopsy, total joint, orthopedic, and laser lithotripsy procedures
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Varied weekend requirements
- On-call requirements with a 1-hour response time
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact license not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care within a surgical department known for advanced and minimally invasive procedures
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Local candidates within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers
