ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Night Shift) in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee. On-call required with a 1-hour response time. Weekend coverage is also required with varied schedules.
Job DescriptionThe Surgical Department at McLaren Macomb is devoted to delivering superior patient care through advanced surgical techniques. As a part of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will play a critical role in the recovery of patients after surgery. Your focus will be on monitoring and supporting patients as they transition from anesthesia to recovery.
Responsibilities- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications as prescribed and manage post-operative pain management strategies.
- Provide thorough documentation of patient care and recovery progress.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and provide updates on patient status.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required.
Certifications/Licensure- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan.
