Description
The Supply Chain/Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services at optimal cost and quality. This position oversees procurement activities, inventory control, and vendor performance while supporting compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role also involves analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications Essential Functions
- Executes procurement of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
- Develops and maintains supplier relationships; negotiates pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Monitors inventory levels and coordinates replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Reviews purchase requisitions, prepares purchase orders, and ensures timely approvals.
- Conducts supplier performance evaluations and recommends improvements.
- Collaborates with operations, finance, and production teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies.
- Analyzes market conditions and identifies opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensures compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
- Maintains accurate procurement records and generates reports for management review.
- Other duties as assigned.

This is a Contract position based out of Mt. Juliet, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00–$36.06/hr.
