Bridgetown Natural Foods – Food manufacturing – 4 days a week (5:00PM - 5:30AM).

Job Summary

Support production by maintaining equipment reliability and responding to line‑down issues.

Essential Functions
  • Diagnose and repair equipment failures under line‑down pressure.
  • Perform scheduled and regular preventive maintenance.
  • Install and set up new and used equipment.
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery.
  • Fabricate components such as cutting, welding, fitting, machining for upgrades/custom repairs.
  • Follow work assignments and document work on work orders or per direction of team lead or Maintenance Manager.
  • Requisition necessary parts and materials for repairs within appropriate time frames.
  • Comply with OSHA and other regulations on equipment safety and machine safeguarding.
  • Provide reliable and accurate information to Maintenance Supervisor to ensure line efficiency and communicate end‑of‑shift pass‑downs.
  • Work to ensure minimum downtime through effective organization and time management.
  • Complete shift documentation accurately and adhere to all daily standard work.
  • Adhere to GMP guidelines.
  • Follow SOPs.
  • Responsible for health and safety of self and co‑workers.
  • Perform routine housekeeping of assigned area and adjacent areas.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Minimum 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/food production environment preferred; self‑directed teamwork a plus.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to drive a forklift, elevated platform/boom lift.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, self‑disciplined and reliable.
  • Effective in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment; set priorities, meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, good judgement under pressure.
  • Will supply own tools.
  • Understand and communicate instructions in English.
Working Conditions / Physical Factors
  • Repetitive movement, bending, twisting; sustained noise; very hot temperatures; hazards such as machinery, slippery floors, ladders and powered industrial vehicles; PPE may be required.
  • Able to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Must lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Able to work in an environment containing nuts, peanuts, dairy, grains and other allergens.
  • Must be available for all shifts, nights, weekends, some holidays, occasional overtime.
  • Weekend and holiday work mandatory with rotating responsibilities for emergency repairs, plant preventive and work order maintenance activities.
