Medical Screener position at Bio Life Plasma Services

About the Role

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and conduct phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How You Will Contribute
  • Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
  • Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes following approved procedures.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
What You Bring to Bio Life
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Can lift up to 32 lbs occasionally (50 lbs rarely). 5‑lb lift requirement.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove use due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
Location and Compensation

Location:

USA – TN – Mount Juliet.

Starting hourly wage: $17.00 per hour (subject to local minimum wage laws). U.S. employees may be eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; short‑term and long‑term disability; basic life insurance; tuition‑reimbursement; paid volunteer time off; company holidays; well‑being benefits.

Eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time; new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
