First shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

- Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse.
- Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
- Performs preventative building maintenance duties, including light construction.
- Performs routine plumbing repairs, such as unstoppping toilets, sinks, or urinals, fixing water leaks and leaking faucets.
- Performs routine electrical repairs, such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps.
- Assembles and moves furniture, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, and moves and sets up tables and chairs.
- Repairs and replaces doorknobs or locks, repairs door closures, and patches holes in walls.
- Paints interior and exterior of building.
- Has the ability to drive all equipment and knowledge of hydraulics.
- Maintains conveyors (oiling chains and adjusting settings).
- Prefer 1-year previous experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety.
- Skilled in reading and following assembly directions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work the 1st shift work schedule:
Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm CT. - This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass required OSHA CERTIFIED Written Test.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment basic aptitude driving test.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to count accurately and efficiently.
Physical Demands- Ability to focus on details; accuracy is a must.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
